acho que não é só essa biblioteca que você precisa... está faltando
mais coisa... arquivos .h são arquivos de cabeçalho... pela mensagem
de erro que deu, para continuar a instalação você precisa do arquivo
mysql.h, e muito provavelmente alguns outros...


quais pacotes do Mysql você têm instalado, e quais estão disponíveis
para instalar pelo repositório do Fedora?
